How can my photo design be printed on apparel?

PromosXchange offers three different options when it comes to printing photographs on apparel such as a t shirt. It’s best to call us toll-free at 1800 776 667 when you’re trying to decide which option to choose. We’ll can talk you through which the option that would look best for your specific artwork and preferred product. Here are the three options:

1. Full-Colour Process Printing
This method gets great results when you want to maintain the photographic quality, looks best on white fabric, and has a minimum of 25 shirts with the same photo because of the set-up involved in printing.

2. Half- tone Printing
If you’re on a budget but still looking to print a photograph, a monotone half-tone print would be your the best option. Half-tone printing is similar to newspaper print where dots of ink are printed closer or further apart to create an image. Half-tone printing works best on any light-coloured shirt especially white and if the original photo is of a lower image resolution. This is because half-tone printing does not have the same level of detail as process print.

Artwork Enhancement
PromosXchange expert in-house graphic designers can redraw and enhance your photograph, for best screen print quality. They can simplify the shading and fading of your photograph to give it a graphic look rather than a photographic print. You can decide over the number of print colours the image is redrawn with. This option is ideal when you’re trying to control your order cost. Full-Colour Process Screen Printing requires an image with a resolution of 200 DPI (dots per inch) and half-tone and artwork redraws can proceed with a lower quality.

If you’re finding the design and artwork issues confusing, we’re here to serve you with delight. Please give us a call at 1800 776 667 to discuss your designs with a a client service representative.
